ADIDAS - ORIGINALS IS...

OBJECTIVE

At the time, Adidas was interested in doing a podcast with Pandora. We were tasked with coming up with an idea and here is what I pitched.

Client: Adidas / Pandora

Role: Creative Direction & Design.

PROCESS

My idea was to have a podcast that had a conversation between two individuals that externally may seem opposite but both had a deep love (or were tied to) Adidas. The first show would've been Reverend Run (of DMC) and A$AP Ferg. The two would discuss whatever topics and occasionally touch on what Adidas meant to their styles or lives. No host, just two people talking about what it is to be "original."

There would be a landing page housing all the interviews along with extra bits like outfits put together by the interviewee, etc. The ability to share was a no brainier but there would also be an area to get promo codes for Adidas and possibly exclusive access to certain products.

FINAL THOUGHTS

In the end, the pitch was passed on but I really liked the idea of this and thought Adidas could've had a lot of fun conversations between interesting individuals that are connected to their brand. Ah well, who even listens to podcasts these days lol.
