Side Practice Coffee

I was commissioned to create some illustrations for Side Practice Coffee, featuring their mascot, "Mugsy."

The first illustration was a collaboration with Little Rippers Skateboarding (LRS) in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago. LRS is an indoor park focused on getting young kids into skateboarding, and SPC has a small setup at the park. For this merch collaboration, I drew Mugsy executing a clean kickflip to capture the spirit of the skate scene.

The second illustration pays homage to the GOAT, Michael Jordan. As a Chicago-based cafe, the Jumpman reference felt inevitable, so I created a piece inspired by Jordan’s iconic dunking pose, blending the coffee culture with Chicago’s rich basketball history.
